Warehouse Checker

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail\-oriented Warehouse Checker to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of goods received, stored, and dispatched within our warehouse. This role requires a proactive individual. The Warehouse Checker plays a vital part in maintaining efficient operations, safety standards, and high\-quality stock control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing products


• Handle materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts


• Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately


• Perform quality control checks to identify damaged items and report issues promptly


• Maintain safety standards by adhering to health and safety protocols during all warehouse activities


• Operate mechanical equipment safely, including forklifts, with proper certification where applicable

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, including materials handling, picking \& packing, and stock management


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for quality control tasks


• Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload activities throughout the shift


• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment


• Prior experience in shipping \& receiving processes is advantageous


• Basic understanding of health \& safety regulations relevant to warehouse environments
