Warehouse Assistant
We are looking for an outgoing and driven Warehouse Assistant to join our growing team. Are you a people person with a background in fast paced environments, hydraulics, and sales, looking for a new opportunity in the area, where no two days will ever be the same? The ideal candidate will have previously worked in the hydraulics or similar industry and will have the ability to ensure excellent customer service, and support achieving business objectives. You will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Coordinator and Branch Manager. Working within our Avonmouth branch within the warehouse to oversee daily operations and foster a positive work environment.

As a Warehouse Assistant in Avonmouth you will be working on a full\-time basis, to handle a wide range of administrative and sales support related tasks. You will be dealing with customers and assisting with their queries about our products.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Servicing customers via phone, email, and trade counter.
- Arranging deliveries via courier or delivery vehicle.
- Picking from specified locations, cutting loose coils of hydraulic hose, accurately as per customer orders.
- Pack and consolidate consignments into appropriate containers, pallets and coils, and label accurately for shipping.
- Prepare and assemble parts and hoses to customer specifications following the relevant paperwork and procedures.
- Maximising spends from clients and upselling of suitable products and fittings.
- General administration duties, and teams support as required.
- Excellent communication skills, customer service, and rapport building.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience preferred.
- Full UK driving license.
- Knowledge of H\&S and PPE.
- Team player with a can\-do attitude, ability to prioritise, organise, work at a fast pace and multi\-task.
- Computer literate with MS Office (other in\-house software will be required for use).
- BFPA Certified is advantageous.
- FLT C/B is advantageous.

Pay: £27,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
