The Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall management,
coordination, and execution of warehouse and delivery operations. This role ensures efficient inventory management, effective logistics planning, and timely distribution, ultimately supporting our customer satisfaction goals. This is a hands\-on role requiring a proactive leader who can manage a warehouse, coordinate cross\-functionally, and implement process improvements in a fast\-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
1\. Warehouse Operations Management
● Oversee daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, storage, order picking,
and packing.
● Ensure efficient use of warehouse space and maintain optimal stock levels in
collaboration with colleagues.
● Implement and enforce best practices for health and safety, cleanliness, and security
within the warehouse.
● Develop and maintain accurate warehouse documentation and reporting, ensuring
compliance with internal and external regulations.● Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure equipment and facility maintenance,
cleanliness, and organization.

2\. Logistics and Deliveries Management
● Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure timely and
accurate distribution to customers.
● Schedule and oversee deliveries to both residential and commercial customers,
managing any changes in delivery schedules as needed.
● Resolve issues related to delayed or incomplete deliveries, maintaining communication
with both internal teams and customers.

3\. Leadership and Development
● Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging a culture of safety,
quality, and continuous improvement.

4\. Inventory Management
● Coordinate closely with the inventory team to ensure stock accuracy and resolve any
discrepancies.
● Collaborate with the purchasing team to manage stock levels and reorder items as
needed to meet demand.
● Implement strategies to reduce product damage, shrinkage, and losses, ensuring
accurate stock counts and inventory integrity.

5\. Process Improvement
● Continuously assess and improve warehouse and delivery processes to enhance
efficiency and reduce costs.
● Implement and leverage warehouse management software and tracking systems to
improve inventory accuracy and order fulfillment.
● Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., delivery times, order accuracy, returns)
to identify areas for improvement.
● Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse and
delivery processes.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential
● Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably
within the furniture, home goods, or retail industry.
● Qualified Forklift Operator
● Strong leadership skills with experience managing, training, and developing teams.
● Solid understanding of inventory management and warehouse software systems.
● Excellent organizational and problem\-solving abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
with cross\-functional teams.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and warehouse management systems
(WMS).

Desirable
● Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, particularly in warehouse
or logistics modules.
● Knowledge of furniture\-specific logistics, such as handling and transporting large or
fragile items.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
● Delivery accuracy rate and on\-time delivery percentage.
● Inventory accuracy and warehouse organization.
● Cost management and reduction in warehouse and logistics operations.
● Health and safety compliance and incident reduction.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
● The role requires frequent walking, standing, and movement within the warehouse.
● Ability to lift or move products, as necessary, and safely operate warehouse equipment
(e.g., forklift, pallet jacks).
● Flexible working hours may be required, including occasional weekends or overtime to
meet delivery deadlines.
