You will be providing all aspects of personal care at night for an individual with multiple learning and physical disabilities, and a delightful personality. He is largely non verbal, but is communicative in his own way. Being able to manage supplementary oxygen and non\-invasive ventilation equipment is an essential part of this role (training will be provided but experience preferred).
In this role you will be a team of three working one at a time. This will include aprox one month off every 3rd month.
You will need to be:
- understanding of social care, especially of people with learning disabilities
- patient, resourceful, reliable and a good communicator
- physically fit and healthy
- a non\-smoker
- A car driver. You will need to provide a full UK driving license
- a calm, capable approach, relaxed yet organised attitude, excellent empathy.
- a good understanding of signing and the willingness to learn new signs
- good under pressure
- Be able to think by yourself but yet be able to work with a team
- Two references and an enhanced DBS check at no expense to the job seeker.
