About You:
Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally within hospitality, leisure, or a multi\-revenue business
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance and drive profitability
Experience producing management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised, accurate, and able to meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment
Strong systems skills, including accounting software and advanced Excel

We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Finance Manager to lead the Accounts Department at Bowood Hotel, Spa \& Golf Resort. Reporting to the General Manager and Finance Director, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic decision\-making, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day\-to\-day management of the Accounts Department and supervise a small finance team
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, forecasts, and annual budgets
Present financial performance and analysis to senior management
Partner with Heads of Department to manage budgets, control costs, and improve profitability
Oversee payroll, cash flow, banking, sales and purchase ledgers, stock control, and membership administration
Ensure compliance with financial controls, statutory requirements, and company procedures
Support year\-end processes, audits, and business planning activities
Provide financial insight and recommendations to support commercial decision\-making
