About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team supporting individuals in our new accommodation site in Tewkesbury within the Gloucester area!

Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person\-centred care and emotional support during waking night shifts.

  • Monitor wellbeing and respond to any incidents calmly and professionally.

  • Assist with night\-time routines and personal care where required.

  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with day staff for continuity of care.

  • Promote independence and recovery\-focused approaches.
What We’re Looking For
  • Enthusiasm for working in mental health and supporting vulnerable individuals.

  • Excellent communication skills and a calm, patient approach.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Previous experience in mental health or social care is desirable

  • Right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship for this role).

Essential Skills

We are seeking someone who is:

  • Empathetic, patient and passionate about supporting people with mental health needs.

  • Confident engaging with individuals with neurodiversity or complex backgrounds.

  • Has experience (or is keen to learn) therapeutic de\-escalation and crisis\-intervention techniques.

  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to respond to changing needs.

  • Computer literate, with confidence in using Microsoft office programmes.
