Waitress/Bar Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer\-focused Waitress/Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately for food and drinks


• Serve beverages and meals promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation


• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with customers during their visit


• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems efficiently


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations


• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities without being pushy


• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times


• Assist with basic food preparation when required, adhering to health standards


• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with professionalism and efficiency


• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates


• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous


• Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial


• Strong organisational skills with good time management abilities are essential to handle busy shifts effectively


• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude


• Basic maths skills for handling bills, payments, and cash handling tasks
