Cogent have an exciting opportunity for a Process Manufacturing Tutor to plan and deliver high\-quality online teaching, learning and assessment across the Level 3 Process Industry Manufacturing Technician and Level 4 Process Leader apprenticeship programmes.
The role will focus on delivering engaging knowledge\-based sessions that support apprentices in developing the technical understanding, behaviours and industry awareness required to succeed within the process manufacturing sector.
The postholder will deliver remote learning sessions, support learner progress and achievement, contribute to curriculum development, and ensure training reflects current industry practice and apprenticeship requirements.
Remote based with some travel to Warrington for Standardisation

· Plan and deliver engaging online teaching sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards, knowledge modules and qualification requirements.
· Deliver high\-quality remote learning across subjects including:

· Process Manufacturing Principles
· Process Control
· Fault Diagnosis and Problem Solving
· Continuous Improvement
· Quality and Compliance
· Operational and Manufacturing Practices
· Develop learners’ understanding of core process manufacturing principles and how these apply within industrial environments.
· Create an engaging and supportive online learning environment that encourages participation, knowledge retention and learner confidence.
· Develop and maintain schemes of work, lesson plans, presentations and learning resources to support high\-quality delivery.
· Utilise digital platforms and Cogent’s LMS effectively to deliver interactive learning and monitor learner engagement and progress.
· Provide learners with timely developmental feedback, guidance and academic support.
· Support learners in preparing for gateway requirements and end\-point assessment activities where appropriate.
· Work collaboratively with curriculum and quality teams to ensure consistency and continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment.
· Participate in standardisation activities, team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
· Support learner retention, achievement and timely completion through effective communication and learner support.
· Contribute to curriculum development to ensure content remains current, industry relevant and aligned to employer needs.
· Maintain accurate learner records and administrative documentation in line with company and funding requirements.
· Promote safeguarding, Prevent and British Values within all areas of delivery and learner interaction.
· Ensure all delivery complies with ESFA, Ofsted and internal quality assurance requirements.

· Delivery of consistently high\-quality online teaching, learning and assessment.

Knowledge Skills and Qualifications
*Essential*
· Industry experience within the process manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, oil \& gas, utilities or related sector.
· Strong knowledge of process manufacturing operations and associated industry practices.
· Understanding of key process manufacturing topics including health \& safety, quality, continuous improvement and process operations.
· Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to learners with varying levels of experience.
· Strong presentation and facilitation skills, particularly within an online learning environment.
· Confident user of IT systems and digital learning platforms including Microsoft Teams and LMS systems.
· Well\-organised with strong administration and time management skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· DBS Check.
*Desirable*
· Previous teaching, tutoring, coaching or workplace training experience.
· A teaching qualification at Level 3 or above.
· Experience delivering apprenticeship standards, particularly:
· Level 3 Process Industry Manufacturing Technician
· Level 4 Process Leader
· Understanding of apprenticeship delivery, EPA requirements and funding compliance.
· Knowledge of Ofsted and ESFA requirements.
· Experience using e\-portfolio systems such as OneFile or Smart Assessor.
