Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service


• Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with kitchen and bar staff


• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness


• Provide attentive guest service, addressing any special requests or dietary requirements


• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities


• Clear tables efficiently, ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting


• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and food safety standards


• Assist in setting up the dining area before service and cleaning after closing shifts


• Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols and hygiene standards

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate


• Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous


• Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial


• Strong organisational skills, including time management, are essential to handle busy periods effectively


• Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
