Waiter/Waitress and Cellar Assistant - Mon-Fri

*The Carlton Club, one of St James’s most prestigious private members’ clubs, is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Food \& Beverage and Cellar Assistant to join our exceptional team.*

*Basic salary:* *£32,000 per annum \+ discretionary staff fund*

*Hours of work:*

*\* 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday*

*\* 8\-hour shifts, 8:00am\-4:00pm (including lunch break)*

*\* No weekends or bank holidays*

*Desired Skills \& Experience:*

· *Proven experience in a similar role*

· *You will be dealing with our Members and their guests; as such, this position requires exceptional customer service and communication skills*

· *Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team*

· *Demonstrated ability to support the Dining Rooms' Manager, Sommelier, and the Dining Room team*

· *Willingness to undertake all aspects of the role; please note this position includes* *heavy lifting**, including carrying and moving crates, cases, and stock*

· *A friendly, flexible, and positive attitude*

*Main Responsibilities:*

· *Supporting the Dining Rooms’ Manager and the team on a daily basis*

· *Supervising two F\&B outlets (Morning Room and Drawing Room), including taking and serving food and beverage orders, and preparing coffees, teas, and other drinks*

· *Processing orders using Micros*

· *Managing the Club’s wine cellar and handling bar requisitions*
