Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: £15\.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and detail\-oriented Videographer / Video Content Creator to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for filming, photographing, and editing high\-quality video and photographic content for business, promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in videography, photography, and video editing, along with the ability to capture engaging visual content and deliver polished results. Applicants must have their own professional camera, video, and audio equipment and be confident managing the filming and editing process independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Film high\-quality video content for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes.

  • Take professional photographs for business, marketing, and digital content.

  • Edit video footage into polished, engaging, and professional final content.

  • Edit and enhance photographs to meet quality and branding requirements.

  • Set up and operate cameras, microphones, lighting, and other filming equipment.

  • Capture clear audio and high\-quality footage in different filming environments.

  • Plan and organise filming sessions to ensure all required content is captured.

  • Work with the team to understand content requirements, creative ideas, and project objectives.

  • Create engaging short\-form videos suitable for social media platforms.

  • Ensure video footage and photographs meet the required quality standards.

  • Manage footage, audio files, photographs, and project files in an organised manner.

  • Ensure all completed content is edited and delivered within agreed deadlines.

  • Identify opportunities to improve video quality, filming techniques, and content presentation.

  • Maintain and safely handle personal filming and audio equipment.

  • Follow agreed filming schedules and attend filming sessions on Fridays and Saturdays.

  • Carry out other reasonable content creation and media\-related duties as required.
Skills \& Experience
  • Previous experience in videography, photography, video production, or digital content creation.

  • Strong practical skills in filming, photography, and video editing.

  • Ability to produce high\-quality visual content suitable for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • Experience using professional cameras and audio recording equipment.

  • Good understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and camera settings.

  • Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.

  • Experience editing photographs using software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom would be beneficial.

  • Understanding of social media content formats and short\-form video production.

  • Ability to capture clear, high\-quality audio using appropriate microphones and recording equipment.

  • Creative eye for detail, storytelling, and visual presentation.

  • Strong organisational and time\-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage filming and editing tasks efficiently.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to meet agreed deadlines.

  • Ability to adapt to different filming requirements and environments.
Essential Requirements
  • Previous practical experience in videography, photography, and video editing.

  • Must have their own suitable camera, video, and audio recording equipment.

  • Ability to independently film, photograph, and edit content.

  • Good understanding of camera operation, composition, lighting, and audio recording.

  • Ability to produce professional\-quality video and photographic content.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to manage filming sessions and deliver completed work on time.

  • Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • Ability to work on\-site as required.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Colchester CO1 1JJ.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience creating promotional, commercial, or branded content.

  • Experience producing content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, or other social media platforms.

  • Knowledge of colour grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects.

  • Experience working with different camera systems, lenses, microphones, and lighting setups.

  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous filming, photography, and editing work.

  • Experience developing creative ideas and contributing to content planning.
Experience
  • Videography: 1 year (preferred)

  • Video editing: 1 year (preferred)

  • Photography: practical experience required

  • Own camera and audio equipment: required
Pay: £15\.00 per hour
