Volvo Trucks is looking for a visionary and people‑centered Vice President, Uptime Center to lead one of our critical service operations. This role holds end‑to‑end responsibility for an organization of approximately 300 employees, including Volvo Action Service and TDS Services, with a clear mission: maximizing customer uptime and delivering world‑class service experiences. The Uptime Center is a muticultural organization with sites in different countries.

As Vice President, you will be a key member of the Service Management Team within Volvo Trucks, contributing to strategic direction, operational excellence, and long‑term capability building across our global service operations.

Your role

In this executive leadership role, you will:

• Lead and develop the global service organization through direct and indirect leadership


• Have full accountability for Volvo Action Service and TDS Services, ensuring high availability, quality, and customer satisfaction


• Drive strategy, performance, and continuous improvement within the Uptime Center, aligned with Volvo Trucks’ overall service and business strategy


• Ensure operational excellence through clear governance, KPIs, and a strong performance culture


• Champion leadership development, engagement, diversity, and a safe, inclusive working environment


• Represent the Uptime Center in internal and external forums, building trust with key stakeholders across the Volvo Group

You are a confident and inspiring leader with a strong business mindset and a genuine passion for people, customers, and service excellence. You thrive in complex environments and are comfortable leading large organizations through change.

We believe you bring:

• Extensive senior leadership experience, preferably from service operations, customer support, or a similar 24/7 environment


• Proven experience leading large organizations with multiple teams and management layers


• Strong strategic and operational capabilities, with the ability to translate strategy into execution


• Experience working in an international, matrix organization


• A value‑driven leadership style aligned with Volvo Group’s culture of trust, care, and responsibility


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at executive level
