Job description:

Setanta Vehicle Sales North Limited is a Renault Trucks Main Dealer operating from a state of the art, modern Headquarters in Ballycoolin, Dublin 15\.

We are recruiting a Commercial Vehicle Valet.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and valet commercial vehicles (external and internal) to agreed standards, including cabs, bodies, and load areas.


• Use pressure washers, cleaning chemicals, and valeting equipment safely and correctly.


• Clean glass, mirrors, wheels, and trims; vacuum and shampoo seats and carpets where required.


• Check vehicles for visible damage, defects, or cleanliness issues and report these to the relevant manager before handover.


• Ensure vehicles are parked, locked, and presented correctly in the yard or handover area, with keys managed securely.


• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe valeting bay, yard area, and equipment at all times.


• Assist with basic vehicle movements within the site (and to local suppliers, where licensed and required).


• Carry out any other associated duties to support the workshop and sales teams as needed.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience valeting or washing vehicles (vans, or trucks) is desirable but not essential; full training can be provided for the right candidate.


• Full, clean C/CE driving licence preferred, with confidence manoeuvring larger vehicles in a yard environment.


• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, well\-presented vehicles.


• Ability to work efficiently, follow instructions, and meet deadlines in a busy commercial environment.


• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work, including bending, lifting, and standing for periods.


• Reliable, punctual, and safety\-conscious, with a positive, team\-focused attitude.

Hours and package

• Full\-time role, typically Monday to Friday, day shift with one Saturday per month as overtime(exact hours to be confirmed).


• Competitive hourly rate/salary commensurate with experience and skills, with on\-site parking and a stable working environment in an established commercial vehicle business.
