UX/UI Designer
UI/UX Designer (Design Systems & Enterprise Products)About the Role We are looking for a permanent UI/UX Designer with strong experience in design systems, enterprise UX, and complex digital products. This role will focus on creating scalable, user-centred experiences across modern web applications while collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Brand teams.
You will play a key role in translating brand strategy into cohesive UI frameworks, reusable components, and intuitive user experiences that support consistency and scalability across platforms.
Key Responsibilities • Design and evolve scalable UI systems across React, Angular, or Vue environments.
- Translate brand guidelines into reusable design systems, design tokens, and component libraries shared with engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and UX patterns.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs for complex web applications.
- Design intuitive experiences for data-dense products including dashboards, admin tools, workflow platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Maintain and document design standards, component usage, and UX guidelines.
- Advocate for accessibility, responsive design, and usability best practices.
- Work collaboratively with Product Managers, Developers, and stakeholders to define and improve user experiences.
- Support continuous improvement through user feedback, testing, and iterative design.
- Demonstrable experience translating brand guidelines into React, Angular, or Vue design systems, design tokens, and component libraries shared with engineers.
- Experience designing for complex, data-dense web products such as:
- Admin tools
- Dashboards
- B2B SaaS platforms
- HealthTech systems
- FinTech applications
- Logistics or operational platforms
- Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and component-based design methodologies.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams in agile environments.
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and responsive design.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Storybook or similar component documentation tools.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience conducting usability testing or user research.
- NHS experience would be useful but is not essential.
- Previous experience working in regulated industries.
- Improved user experience across complex enterprise workflows.
- Strong collaboration between Design and Engineering teams.
- Efficient delivery of accessible, high-quality digital products.
- Design systems and documentation that support long-term scalability.
