<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>TS&amp;D Intern (Summer 2027)</strong></span></p>
<p>The primary purpose of this position is to assist the TS&amp;D chemists in completing their research projects, and handling miscellaneous duties in the TS&amp;D lab. This position will uphold the Hydrite “Standards of Excellence” through continuous commitment to customer satisfaction, both internal and external. <strong>This role will run full time from May/June - August 2027.</strong></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>Primary responsibilities include:</strong></em></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Uphold Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence through a continuous commitment to maintain quality facilities and provide quality products and services to internal and external customers</li>
<li>Prepare samples for Distribution, FP, Water Treatment, and Foam Control.</li>
<li>Practice good laboratory safety techniques.</li>
<li>Assist chemists in completing lab requests and projects.</li>
<li>Ship small quantities of hazardous materials.</li>
<li>Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned.</li>
<li>Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health &amp; safety and process training activities as required.</li>
<li>Review changes/additions with your supervisor. Must be RCRA compliant.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>REPORTING STRUCTURE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position reports to the Director of Technology.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be studying to obtain a degree in Chemistry (Junior or Senior).</li>
<li>Completion of following core Chemistry courses: Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry,</li>
<li>Organic Chemistry, and associated labs.</li>
<li>Must possess good laboratory analytical skills.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.</li>
<li>Able to apply advanced math skills and use involved problem solving.</li>
<li>Must be self-motivated.</li>
<li>Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.</li>
