About Us

We are a trusted transport business operating across the South East London area and are proud members of the Palletways network. We specialise in the efficient movement of palletised goods and deliver a high standard of service to all of our customers. We are now looking for an experienced Transport Operative to join our office based team.

The Role

Working within our busy office team, you will play a key part in keeping our daily operations running smoothly. You will communicate regularly across our network and manage all planning and administrative tasks. These include but are not limited to:

• Liaising with other depots within the network to help problem solve or arrange deliveris/collections.


• Communicate with our fleet of drivers to help make their day run as smoothly as possible.


• Work alongside other members of staff including managers to keep our fleet legal and in good working order.


• To plan the night operations throughout the day to meet the trunking requirements each evening.


• Effective planning of all deliveries and collections on a daily basis.

• Previous experience working within an office in the Transport industry


• Hold a valid HGV licence \- Preferable not a must


• Strong communication skills and ability to work well under pressure


• Good IT skills


• MUST be able to work the evening shift disclosed below

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 \- 18:00 (occasional 11:30 \- 20:30 to cover other staff holidays)


• 28 paid holidays (Inclusive of bank holidays)


• Occasional Saturdays (optional)

• £39,000 per annum \+ Bonuses \- If you hold a valid HGV licence (Class 1 or 2\)


• £33,000 per annum \+ Bonuses \- If you DO NOT hold a HGV licence
