Overview

We're looking for someone with transport experience who thrives under pressure and enjoys solving problems in real time.

You'll be at the centre of our ever\-growing nationwide transport operation, handling service issues as they arise and protecting service levels for some of our key accounts. Working alongside our operations teams across multiple depots, you'll take ownership of same\-day service recovery.

From traffic delays and rail disruptions to customer issues and operational changes, you'll be responsible for keeping customers informed while working with planners to minimise disruption and maintain service.

Duties

  • Managing same\-day service issues across our nationwide fleet.

  • Communicating delays and changes to customers professionally and confidently.

  • Working with planners to reroute or reallocate work where required.

  • Protecting customer service levels through quick thinking and sound decision\-making.

  • Monitoring live operations and responding to changing situations throughout the day.

  • Building strong relationships with customers and planners.

  • Taking ownership of problems until they're resolved.

Qualifications
  • Previous transport or logistics experience (essential).

  • Remains calm under pressure.

  • Is highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities at once.

  • Thinks ahead and reacts quickly when circumstances change.

  • Has excellent customer service skills.

  • Doesn't wait to be told what to do—they're proactive and solution\-focused.

  • Has resilience and a positive attitude.

This role isn't for everyone.

There will be busy days when priorities change by the minute, phones don't stop and customers need answers quickly. We're looking for someone who can stay composed, communicate with confidence and enjoy the challenge of finding solutions under pressure.
