Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 4:30pm
Salary: £14\.50 per hour (£35,815 per annum)

We're looking for an organised, proactive Transport Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem\-solving, working with people and keeping operations running smoothly.

You'll work closely with our Transport Manager to help ensure our vehicle fleet operates safely, efficiently and in full compliance with operator licence requirements. The Role

As Transport Coordinator, you'll play a key role in the day\-to\-day running of our transport operation by:

• Coordinating vehicle servicing, inspections, repairs and MOTs.


• Managing vehicle defects from initial report through to completion.


• Monitoring drivers' hours, tachograph records and Working Time Directive compliance.


• Maintaining accurate transport compliance records and documentation.


• Coordinating vehicle breakdowns, recoveries and accident response.


• Investigating vehicle incidents and identifying preventative improvements.


• Liaising with maintenance providers, suppliers and external workshops.


• Keeping drivers informed of operational and compliance updates.


• Supporting driver inductions, training and driving standards.


• Working closely with our Operations team to maximise vehicle availability.


• Helping ensure we meet all Operator Licence obligations and company procedures.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.


• Confident communicating with colleagues, drivers and suppliers.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.


• Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.


• Reliable, proactive and eager to learn.


• In possession of a full UK driving licence.

• Experience within transport, logistics, fleet administration or vehicle maintenance.


• Knowledge of operator licensing, transport compliance or vehicle maintenance systems.

• £14\.50 per hour (£35,815 per year).


• Monday to Friday working – 6:30am to 4:30pm.
