Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800 – 1700hrs (flexibility may be required)
Reports To: Transport Manager
Contract Type: Full\-time (40hrs)

Salary: £28,000

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team, with a dedicated focus on data reconciliation tasks within our transport operations. This is a key support role aimed at ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transport\-related data across systems and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be confident using Excel and Microsoft Office, comfortable working with data, and capable of liaising effectively with internal teams, drivers, and customers.

This role is essential to maintaining service quality, billing accuracy, and operational transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily data reconciliation of transport records, including delivery data, driver logs, and customer documentation


• Liaise with drivers, operations teams, customers, and billing departments to resolve data discrepancies


• Maintain accurate records in spreadsheets and internal systems


• Generate and share regular reports to support operational and billing processes


• Flag and follow up on any discrepancies, delays, or missing information


• Assist with general transport admin tasks as required


• Contribute to continuous improvement of reconciliation processes

• Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office


• Good communication skills (both written and verbal)


• Detail\-oriented with a high level of accuracy


• Proactive, organised, and able to manage priorities effectively


• Comfortable liaising with a wide range of stakeholders including drivers, customers, and internal teams


• Previous experience in a transport, logistics, or admin role is desirable but not essential


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
