Warehouse Operative/Labourer/Driver - Basildon - Part Time (7.30 am-12.00 pm)

We are seeking a versatile, hard\-working, and reliable individual to join our team in a multi\-functional role. This position combines traditional warehouse logistics, physical manual labouring, and delivery driving. The successful candidate will keep our facility organised, assist with demanding physical site tasks, and hit the road on ad\-hoc delivery/collection orders.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Warehouse Operations

• General warehouse duties including sorting, packing and organising inventory


• Load and unload goods using a forklift


• Report any shortages, damages, discrepancies to Line Manager


• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and free of hazards


• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

• Carry out general site labouring tasks


• Work efficiently alongside a team or independently using your own initiative


• Assist trained operatives with basic scaffolding setups and work safely at heights


• Organise and maintain the company warehouse and scaffold yard during down periods.

• Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) with a clean record


• Physically fit and fully comfortable handling heavy, repetitive lifting and manual tasks.

• Minimum 1 years experience in a warehouse, logistics, or yard environment.


• Proven experience commercial driving or making multi\-drop deliveries.


• Experience with heavy manual labouring or construction environments is highly desirable.

• Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Reach).


• Green CSCS Card (Labourer) is a distinct advantage for site\-based drops.


• Excellent communication, a strong work ethic, a reliable track record for punctuality, and basic computer literacy for inventory logging.
