Transport Administrator
Position: Transport Administrator x4
Location: Wednesbury
Shift patterns: Monday\-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full\-Time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Supporting manager with accurate and timely daily brief \& de\-brief of drivers to the DHL standard
- Preparation \& reconciliation of delivery paperwork, POD's.
- Monitoring vehicle routes and driver schedules through Microlise, escalating issues where necessary
- Supporting the wider transport team with a variety of administrative and operational tasks
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, transport legislation and Health \& Safety standards
- Identifying and reporting any operational concerns or compliance issues in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records and transport documentation
- Tachomaster admin \& reporting
- Previous experience within a transport, logistics or distribution environment is essential
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using transport management systems such as Microlise and Tachomaster
- An understanding of driver hours regulations, Working Time Directive (WTD) requirements and transport compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels
- The ability to prioritise workload and remain calm under pressure
