Training Officer \- Leadership and Professional Development
We are investing in leadership and professional development and are looking for passionate, innovative and engaging learning professionals to join our growing Leadership Team as Training Officers – Leadership and Professional Development.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing and delivering high\-quality leadership and professional development learning that supports organisational performance, workforce capability and leadership excellence across policing.
Working with the Leadership function and reporting to the Leadership Manager, you will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of impactful learning interventions that support police officers and police staff at all stages of their leadership journey.
The role will support the delivery of engaging and inclusive leadership development programmes, professional development programmes, professional development activity and innovative blended learning solution aligned to organisational priorities and College of Policing leadership standards. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to identify development needs, promote reflective and values\-led leadership practice, and contribute to a culture of continuous professional development and learning improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver and evaluate leadership and professional development learning interventions using a range of delivery methods and learning approaches.
- Facilitate engaging leadership development programmes, workshops and CPD activity for police officers, police staff and leaders at all levels.
- Develop innovative blended learning solutions, including classroom, digital, virtual and experiential learning approaches that support accessibility and learner engagement.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify leadership and development needs, recommend appropriate learning solutions and support organisational leadership priorities.

Important Information
Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background \& financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Medical: Appointment to this role will be dependent upon you successfully passing medical checks, which may if required include a drugs test.
