Trainee Operations Manager
The best operations managers understand the work before they start directing it. This trainee role is built around that principle.
You’ll join a sales and marketing business that manages customer\-acquisition campaigns for different clients. Your first priority will be understanding how campaigns are prepared, delivered and measured. From there, you’ll gradually take responsibility for planning, team coordination, quality control and performance.
This is a hands\-on commercial operations role—not warehouse or logistics management.
A Day in Operations
Your morning will usually begin with a review of the client brief, campaign targets and team priorities. You’ll help check that information, materials and responsibilities are organised before activity begins.
Throughout the day, you’ll monitor progress, keep records accurate and respond when something is falling behind or needs attention. You’ll work closely with campaign leaders to maintain customer and client standards.
At the end of the day, you’ll help review results, customer feedback and operational issues. The aim is to understand what worked, what needs improving and what should change before the next campaign.
How Your Responsibility Will Grow
As you build experience, you’ll begin to:
- Coordinate daily campaign plans and resources
- Lead briefings and communicate team priorities
- Monitor performance against campaign targets
- Support onboarding and practical team training
- Identify process improvements
- Prepare performance updates for management
- Take ownership of smaller client projects
- Help expanding campaigns operate consistently
We’re looking for someone organised, commercially aware and genuinely interested in how businesses operate. You should be comfortable communicating with different people, working with targets and taking accountability for the quality of your work.
You’ll also need to be open to feedback, willing to learn the operation from the ground up and ready to take on more responsibility when you have demonstrated that you are prepared for it.
What You’ll Receive
You’ll receive structured operations training, regular one\-to\-one coaching and experience across different clients and campaigns. The position includes guaranteed base pay plus performance\-based bonuses and is not commission\-only.
Progression opportunities may include Operations Coordinator, Campaign Manager or Operations Manager roles.
If you want to understand how campaigns, teams and performance are managed as one operation, send us your CV today.
