Trainee General Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee General Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. This entry\-level leadership role offers a unique opportunity to develop essential management skills while gaining comprehensive experience across operations. As a Trainee General Manager, you will work closely with senior management to learn the ins and outs of running a successful venue, ensuring exceptional customer service, food quality, and team coordination. This paid position is designed to prepare you for future leadership roles in the hospitality industry by providing hands\-on experience in a fast\-paced environment. This position also provides live in Accomadation in a central London Location

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness standards


• Support the supervision of staff, including bartenders, servers, kitchen team members, and baristas, ensuring smooth teamwork and high performance


• Participate in training team members on food safety protocols, food production techniques, and hospitality best practices


• Help manage customer relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience


• Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies


• Support the implementation of health and safety regulations within the kitchen and service areas


• Collaborate with senior managers to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, cooking, bartending, or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting


• Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a fast\-paced environment


• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively


• Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes


• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and staff


• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail


• Previous hotel or culinary experience is a plus; barista experience is advantageous but not required
