The Role/Candidate
Due to growth, we are looking to recruit and train an individual to become an Industrial Door Engineer within BID Group, the ideal candidate will start as a Trainee Engineer working alongside our current Engineer In the Hyde area with the view to progress into the lead role (Timescales differs for each person)
The role will include assisting in the installation, servicing, repairing, and fault diagnosis of industrial doors and associated products:
- Industrial sectional overhead doors
- High speed/rapid roll doors
- Industrial roller shutters
- Fire shutters and doors
- Folding and sliding doors
- Steel security doors
- Dock levellers/loading bays
- Automatic doors
A CSCS card, PASMA and IPAF qualifications would be an advantage although full training will be provided as required.
A full driving licence is essential, and the position is subject to a criminal records check.
The successful candidates must be flexible and willing to work overtime.

Hours/Location/Salary
Location: Hyde and Local areas
Salary: This will be discussed at interview stage this will be dependent upon skills and experience
Hours Of Work: Basic 40\-hour week, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime as required.
