Salary £29,741 \- £31,590 basic salary plus on\-call, overtime (£12\.71 \- £13\.50\)

Within the Waste \& Water Services Division of Franchise Brands, is also Willow Pumps and Filta. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one\-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.

The role:

This role is ideal for someone practical, hardworking and keen to build a long\-term career in the drainage industry. You may already have experience in construction, utilities, groundworks or another hands\-on environment, or simply be looking for an opportunity to learn a skilled trade. No previous drainage experience is essential, as full training will be provided—but you’ll need a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and be comfortable working outdoors in all conditions.

What does it entail?

• Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our domestic and commercial customers’ drains


• Operation of High\-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards


• Carrying out surveys


• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise


• Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps


• Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided


• Being part of an on\-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four– variable according to the business needs

• Previous experience within a hands\-on technical/construction role


• A keen interest in learning the drainage trade

• Physically fit and able to do a manual role


• Full UK driving licence \& own transport
