Trainee Dental Nurse

Overview
We are pleased to be able to offer a full time Trainee Dental Nurse position in our well established family NHS dental practice , with our friendly team.

Duties

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth workflow


• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments


• Provide patients with pre\- and post\-treatment care instructions, ensuring their comfort and understanding


• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes using IT systems


• Ensure all clinical equipment is sterilised, clean, and well\-maintained according to health and safety standards


• Uphold high standards of infection control and hygiene throughout the practice


• Offer reassurance and support to anxious or nervous patients, fostering a welcoming environment

Skills

• Proven experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is desirable


• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently


• Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is advantageous


• Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in a fast\-paced environment
