Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team and assist in providing high\-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring the comfort of patients, maintaining equipment and instruments, and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
\- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures
\- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials
\- Ensure the cleanliness and sterility of the dental surgery
\- Provide chair\-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
\- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
\- Maintain accurate patient records
\- Manage stock control of dental materials
\- Follow practice protocols and guidelines
Skills:
\- Proficient in IT systems for maintaining patient records
\- Excellent command of English language for effective communication with patients and colleagues
\- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
\- Compassionate attitude towards patient care
\- Previous experience as a nurse is advantageous
\- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment
