Videcom Security is a long\-established and well\-respected CCTV integrator delivering public space Safer City CCTV systems. We specialise in installation, servicing, and maintaining cameras, wireless transmission and associated equipment.

With around 25 employees, we pride ourselves on having a close\-knit team who are always there to help each other where required. We have a low turnover of staff, and our experienced engineers are always happy to share knowledge and techniques.

Videcom Security is owned through an Employee\-Owned Trust (EOT), with profit share declared annually to all staff with a minimum of 12 months continuous service (terms apply).

Job description:

A fantastic career opportunity awaits you at Videcom, a leading public space CCTV integrator. We are on the lookout for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Trainee Service and Installation Engineer at our Scunthorpe Office

As a Trainee Engineer, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in a diverse and thrilling role focused on installations and system support across Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire. We are seeking someone with a passion for the industry, eager to learn and grow alongside us.

Salary: £21439\.60 \- £25,000 (aged 18 \- 21\) £25,000 \- £28,000 p.a. (aged over 21\) depending on experience and qualifications.

What’s included:

· Annual EOT Tax Free Bonus after 12 months continuous service

· 4 weeks paid holiday rising to 5 weeks after 2 years continuous service

· Use of a company van after probation period

Experience:

· IP CCTV: an advantage but not essential.

  • Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft products.

  • Good spoken and written English skills

  • Manual dexterity , working with tools and hands
Working Hours:

· 8 Hour days (occasional overtime)

· Monday to Friday

Requirements:

· Full UK Drivers licence

· CSCS/ECS (preferred)

· IPAF (preferred)

· Other industry related training (preferred)

VideCom Security is an investor in staff, with options available for training and skills development, these may include assisted college placements or fixed duration vocational courses.
