We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Trainee Business Development Manager to join Alps. This role is designed to help you build a strong foundation in the insurance and broker market before progressing into a full sales role.
You’ll begin your journey within our Broker Support Team, learning about our products, our partners, and how our business operates. Once you’ve developed the right knowledge and confidence, you’ll progress into the Sales Team, where you’ll begin building broker relationships and generating new business.

What you'll be doing
In your Broker Support phase:
- Supporting our Sales Team and broker partners with day\-to\-day queries
- Learning about our insurance products and services
- Assisting brokers with product information, documentation, and onboarding
- Building strong relationships with broker partners through phone and email communication
- Developing a deep understanding of the broker market and customer needs
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery
- Supporting the Sales Team with broker engagement and relationship building
- Speaking with brokers to identify opportunities for our products
- Helping generate new business opportunities
- Learning how to manage a pipeline and support the sales process
- Booking calls, demos, or meetings with brokers
- Developing the skills needed to become a successful Business Development Manager
- A confident communicator who enjoys speaking to people, both over the phone and in person.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Motivated and eager to build a career in sales
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks

- No previous sales experience required, just the right attitude and ambition
