We are a fast\-growing precious metals buying company operating across Surrey. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a driven, reliable and ambitious Assistant Buyer with the potential to progress into a Purchasing Manager role.

We will provide full training and teach you everything you need to know about the industry, valuation, client interaction and purchasing processes. What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, ability to learn and willingness to take responsibility.
The Opportunity
You will start as an Assistant Buyer, working directly alongside the founder and learning the business from the inside out.
The role involves significant time on the road and driving is a major part of the position. You will travel between different locations across Surrey, operating our mobile buying unit and meeting clients face\-to\-face.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving our mobile buying unit between locations across Surrey
- Comfortably and confidently driving a large mobile\-home/campervan\-sized vehicle Meeting clients face\-to\-face and providing excellent customer service
- Buying precious metals from consumers
- Assessing and valuing jewellery, gold and other precious metals
- Handling negotiations and building trust with clients
- Completing purchase and customer documentation accurately
- Supporting logistics and daily operations
- Setting up and operating at different locations
- Maintaining high standards of security, professionalism and customer service

Driving Requirements
This is a driving\-intensive role and a full, clean driving licence is essential.
You must:
- Hold a full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Be confident and comfortable driving larger vehicles
- Be comfortable driving a vehicle similar in size to a motorhome/campervan
- Be willing to spend a significant amount of your working day on the road
- Be comfortable travelling between multiple locations across Surrey
- Have a responsible and safety\-conscious approach to driving
