Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer
We are looking for a motivated and practical Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with hands\-on experience who wants to learn a skilled trade and build a long\-term career in the air conditioning industry.
Previous air conditioning experience is not required. You will work alongside experienced engineers and receive practical, on\-the\-job training.
The Role
You will assist our engineers with the installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning systems at a variety of customer and project sites.
As your experience develops, you will learn to:
- Install, service and maintain air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and repair faults
- Use hand tools, power tools and testing equipment safely
- Work with pipework and electrical components
- Read technical drawings and manufacturers’ instructions
- Test and commission equipment
- Work safely and professionally on customer premises and construction sites
We are looking for someone who is practical, mechanically minded and keen to learn.
Some previous hands\-on experience in building, construction, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical work, maintenance or a similar trade is highly desirable.
You should be reliable, hardworking, comfortable using tools and able to work well as part of a team.
A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
