Your tasks

• As a member of one of our 3GPP technologies teams, your key responsibilities will include:


• Supporting the design and implementation of specific 3GPP 5G protocol conformance features and toolsets.


• Supporting the design and implementation of 3GPP stack features, tests, and tools.


• Involvement in design and development of tools and features leading towards 6G.


• Investigating and resolving customer requests related to 3GPP 5G protocol stack.


• Learning about the development of complex software applications using C\+\+ and Python, including testing strategies.


• Collaborating with industry experts in the UK and Germany to gain knowledge of cutting\-edge wireless and telecommunication technologies, RF engineering, and AI/ML.


• Working independently or collaboratively in a dynamic environment as part of a larger team, depending on your current tasks.


• Gaining hands\-on experience with AI/ML and its application in development and customer projects.


• Contributing to the 5G standardisation process through close collaboration with 3GPP experts.


• Participating in ongoing process improvement and innovation initiatives within the team.

Your qualifications

• To be successful in this role, you will need:


• To be studying for a degree in electronic engineering, computer science, AI/ML, or a related STEM field with programming modules.


• Basic knowledge of object\-oriented programming (e.g., C\+\+ or similar).


• Some understanding of wireless telecommunications would be advantageous


• Some experience of using AI tools would be advantageous


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
