Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join the team at our continually growing installation team (Head Office based in Croydon) within a long\-established air conditioning installation Company as a Trainee Engineer. This is a great opportunity for an individual interested in entering the Air Conditioning trade. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in the installation of a wide variety of equipment. For those who demonstrate aptitude for the role there will also be the opportunity to train for technical qualifications for the right candidate with clear progression within the company.

  • The role is mobile as all installation work will be carried out at Excel Cooling Services clients premises.

  • The basic working week is 40 hours onsite after which authorised overtime will be paid.

The Candidate
  • Pro\-active with a keen willingness to learn essential skills necessary to become an engineer.

  • Must be based between Northampton and Luton.

  • Able to accommodate early starts and / or later finishes in order to complete jobs within agreed timescales.

  • Able to work away from home should this be required (prior notice would be given in all instances)

  • A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.

  • Some working experience within the Air Conditioning field would be an advantage but is not essential.
