Trade Engineer – Carpenter (Multi-Skilled)

We are looking for a skilled and qualified Trade Engineer (Carpenter) to join our Voids team. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will carry out maintenance activities, repairs and planned works across residential properties, public buildings and commercial premises.

Position: Trade Engineer (Carpenter)

Salary: £39289 per year

Location: Apex Park, Worchester, WR4 9FN

Hours: 37 hours 8am to 4pm (Fri 3:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on role where quality workmanship, customer care and health & safety compliance are essential. You will work both independently and alongside other trade engineers to deliver high standards of service.

• Undertake works relating to your primary trade (Carpentry) and associated multi-skilled tasks


• Carry out repairs, installations and refurbishments within void kitchens and bathrooms


• Ensure all works meet regulatory, compliance and Health & Safety requirements


• Manage company equipment, materials and van stock in line with procedures


• Participate in emergency call-out rota (where applicable)


• Work flexibly between 08:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday

• Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry


• Advanced Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry


• CSCS Card (or equivalent)


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Proven ability in all aspects of Carpentry, including fault diagnosis


• Experience working within social housing (desirable)
