Theatre Resource Officer
The Theatre Resource Officer plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and high\-quality patient care within the Operating Theatres across King’s Mill and Newark Hospitals. This dynamic and fast\-paced position is responsible for ensuring theatres are fully equipped with the essential consumables, surgical products, and specialist equipment needed to keep services running smoothly.
Working closely with theatre teams, procurement services, consultants, and external suppliers, the post holder will manage stock control, raise and process orders, coordinate loan kits, and help introduce new products and technologies that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency. The role also involves monitoring stock usage, identifying cost\-saving opportunities, resolving supply chain issues, and maintaining accurate electronic records and reporting systems.
