Testing Consultant
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Testing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong background in test automation, system integration, and performance testing. This role involves collaborating with cross\-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high\-quality software solutions, adhering to SDLC best practices and industry standards. The successful applicant will play a pivotal part in identifying root causes of issues, developing comprehensive test cases, and supporting release management processes across various platforms including web, mobile, and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Test and validate statistical programming outputs generated using SAS and R to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation procedures for analytical systems and clinical trial data processes.
- Identify software defects, data inconsistencies, processing errors, and performance issues within statistical and analytical applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing on business analytics tools and reporting systems.
- Prepare detailed testing documentation, validation reports, defect logs, and quality assurance records.
- Provide technical input regarding software quality, testing progress, and risk assessment.
- Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation frameworks using Selenium or similar tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for performance and system testing.
- Proficiency in database management systems including SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, MongoDB or similar.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS.
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent problem\-solving capabilities.
- Ability to gather business requirements effectively and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
- Knowledge of operating systems including Windows and Linux/Unix environments.
Pay: £30,549\.39\-£35,000\.00 per year
