Tender Enquiry Manager
About the role
Balfour Beatty currently have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a background in administration or office management to support members of the Work Winning department from receipt of tender documents until award or notification of being unsuccessful as our Tender Enquiries Manager, based from our head offices in Motherwell.
What you'll be doing
Manage the Tender Enquiry Process which includes:\-
Creating Procurement Schedule
Identify all sub\-contract and material packages from Bills of Quantities and Specifications.
Identify supply chain and liaise with all members of the team involved in the tender process.
Abstract relevant Work Package information from Bills, Specifications and Drawings and compile enquiry incorporating Tender Letter and other standard information issued with all packages.
Manage communications received during the tender process e.g. Issue out Tender Amendments / Addendums etc.
Collate and record on procurement schedule and file all quotations received.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities / experience are required:
Experience of managing staff
Adminstration experience
Knowledge and experience of the subcontactor and material supplier markets.
Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
Strong communicator
Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels
Ability to work on Multiple Tenders at any given time and consistently react to ever changing situations prioritising accordingly.
Very strong customer focus
