Are you an experienced Medical Secretary looking to be part of a dynamic healthcare team? About the Role:

As a key member of the administrative team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming Patients: Be the friendly face that greets patients upon arrival and manages check-out at the end of their appointments.

  • Patient Registration: Register patients with the clinic and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Diary Management: Coordinate clinical diaries and appointments, ensuring a seamless patient flow.

  • Inbox Management: Handle the practice inbox and respond to patient inquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Administrative Support: Provide high-quality support to clinicians by drafting and sending clinical correspondence, referral letters, and reports.

  • Invoicing: Raise invoices and process payments accurately.

  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidential patient records in line with regulatory standards.

  • Liaison: Communicate effectively with clinicians, external partners, and patients as needed.

  • Process Improvement: Support the continuous enhancement of administrative processes.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a Front of House or medical secretarial role within a private healthcare setting.

  • Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical workflows.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with a warm yet professional demeanor.

  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to juggle competing priorities.

  • Tech Savvy: Confident using digital systems; experience with Semble or similar practice management software is a plus.

  • Mental Health Familiarity: Experience with mental health services is preferred, but full training will be provided.

  • Patient Focused: A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience, every time.
