Tandem Group Cycles is a leading UK distributor of mechanical and electric bikes, trusted by around 800 independent retailers nationwide. As part of our parent company, Tandem Group PLC, we are the proud names behind iconic British cycling brands like Dawes, Claud Butler, and Squish. We are seeking a proactive Telesales Administrator / Internal Account Manager to join our busy team at our Birmingham headquarters (B35\). Working closely with our Field Area Sales Managers, you will be the vital link that supports, grows, and nurtures our 250\-strong dealer base across the South UK.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1\-hour lunch break)

  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (No afternoon shift!)
Daily Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Actively engage with our established dealer base, making approximately 30 structured outbound calls per day to maintain relationships and drive sales.

  • Business Development: Conduct prospect calling to uncover and develop new B2B business opportunities.

  • Upselling \& Promotion: Introduce retailers to new stock ranges, seasonal product launches, and exclusive special offers.

  • Order Processing: Efficiently input and manage orders using our Proteus system (full, comprehensive training provided).

  • Logistics Liaison: Coordinate daily with freight carriers and arrange stock collections.

  • Inbox \& Reporting: Manage a fast\-moving sales inbox and provide weekly activity and sales updates to management.
What We Are Looking For
  • Sales Driven: You genuinely enjoy phone\-based customer contact, cold calling, and hitting realistic targets.

  • Strong Communicator: You are confident, outgoing, and possess an excellent telephone manner.

  • IT Literate: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with the ability to pick up new software quickly.

  • Organised Multitasker: High attention to detail with the ability to manage admin tasks while maintaining high phone activity.

  • Team Player: A reliable individual willing to go the extra mile to support the wider sales team.

  • *A passion for cycling or bikes is an advantage, but absolutely not essential—we train you on the product!*
Location \& Commute: Based at 35 Tameside Drive, Birmingham. Our office features free on\-site parking and is easily commutable from Castle Bromwich, Erdington, Solihull, and surrounding West Midlands areas.
