Technical Purchasing Manager - Construction
A construction company is seeking to add a Technical Purchasing Manager to its on\-site team to take responsibility for the technical procurement, purchasing coordination and cost management of construction projects from pre\-construction through to completion and warranty periods.
Independently manage financial processes during the construction and warranty phases of projects.
The technical manager will report directly to the site manager and will have a technical assistant under their supervision to collect data, depending on the workload during the different phases of the project. We are seeking a construction professional with strong site knowledge/experience combined with procurement and technical management skills.

Responsibilities:
· Support with estimation process.
· Develop \& Manage Procurement schedule.
· Monitor procurement against construction programmes.
· Procurement comparisons \& Supplier negotiation
· Compare \& Approve materials against specifications.
· Manage systems for procurement.
· Coordinate with site administration on orders, contracts, and purchase orders with suppliers.
· Change orders with the property owner and suppliers.
· Pro forma invoices with subcontractors.
· Work reports for in\-house staff and subcontractors.
· Financial Certification with the client.
· Reconciliation with production accounting and cost control.
Required qualifications:
· At least 5 years of on\-site experience in site management/quantity surveying or construction procurement or a similar position.
· Knowledge of Office 365, Presto, Procore, Microsoft Project, and Adobe.
· Languages: English (B2 level).
Job Conditions:
\- Full\-time, permanent contract.
\- Salary commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.
\- Immediate start date, subject to the candidate’s availability.
Pay: £55,000\.00\-£75,000\.00 per year
