Technical Project Manager - Corporate Events
Job Overview
We are seeking a technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to expand their project management skills.
We're looking for a talented, client\-facing individual to provide end\-to\-end delivery of technical events, from reacting to an enquiry, to spec'ing, selling, overseeing prep and delivery on site.

London Event productions is a boutique technical events company specalising in heritage venues. We're a small, tight\-knit group of event professionals who believe in rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in. We wear many hats in the course of doing our jobs and have a "work hard, play hard" mentality. You can usually find us setting up for an event at a palace or museum around town.
Skills
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members
- Well organised, able to multitask
- MINIMUM of 2 years of professional experience in the technical events industry.
- Full UK driving licence
- A comprehensive understanding of audio, lighting, video, rigging and staging
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively
- Clear and concise communication skills to interact with clients and suppliers
- Organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with the project management system, Current RMS or equivalent
- Calm under pressure
- Strong problem\-solving abilities
- CAD software (SketchUp)
- Adobe suite
- Strong client\-facing skills
- Presentable
- Technically literate
- Excellent work ethic
- Competent driver (up to 3\.5t luton trucks)
- Able to support larger productions and work independently on smaller briefs
- Liaising with clients to establish project scope
- Specifying equipment and design elements
- Producing proposals
- Attending site visits
- Booking suppliers and freelance staff
- Complete health and safety documents \- RAMS
- Producing floor plans using CAD
- Assisting with preps
- Supporting the senior PMs with their projects
- Exposure (only joking)
- £32,000 \- £40,000 basic per annum, depending on experience (take home will be much higher with overtime)
