Technical Inside Sales Specialist

Midland Steel is an innovative and progressive steel reinforcement manufacturer, supplier, and specialist contractor, with established operations in Ireland and the UK and a growing presence across Europe, the USA, and other international markets. We are seeking an experienced Technical Inside Sales Specialist to join our team.

· Conduct Outbound Sales calls and coordinate email campaigns to introduce customers to Midland Steel products, develop understanding of individual customer requirements and close sales to meet targets.

· Proactively engage contractors, builders, and industry customers through outbound calls and targeted email campaigns—understanding their requirements and converting opportunities into long\-term business.

· Build and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic customers through partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.

· Collaborate with Field based Sales Team members to ensure alignment and consistency in market messaging and presence.

· Support delivery of the sales strategy by identifying and actioning opportunities to ensure awareness and traction of Midland Steel products and services.

· Engage in regular reporting providing accurate and insightful updates on progress, sales and customer/market insights.

· Monitor Industry\-specific trends and landscapes sharing findings and highlighting opportunities amongst team and management

· Effectively communicate Company value proposition through presentations and proposals.

Requirements

· Experience in telesales, internal sales, or B2B sales, ideally within construction, building materials, or related sectors

· A solid understanding of the construction supply chain, contractors, or trade customers

· A proactive, target\-driven mindset with the ability to build relationships and close deals

· Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to customers

· Structured on\-the\-job training and coaching
