Sales Team Manager – Contact Centre (Insurance)
Location: Glasgow City Centre
Hours: 37\.5 per week \| Mon–Fri 8am–6pm \| 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are looking for a results\-driven Sales Team Manager to lead a high\-performing team within our fast\-paced contact centre environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong insurance industry experience and a proven track record of driving sales performance and developing successful teams.
As a Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets, coaching advisors to maximise conversion, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of sales advisors to achieve and exceed targets
- Drive team performance against key metrics including conversion rates, revenue, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Deliver ongoing coaching, call listening, and performance feedback to improve sales effectiveness
- Create a high\-energy, results\-focused sales culture within the team
- Ensure all sales activities comply with FCA regulations and internal policies
- Manage and resolve escalated customer queries and complaints
- Use MI and reporting to identify trends, improve performance, and optimise sales outcomes
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of team members
- Essential: Experience as a Sales Team Manager / Supervisor in a contact centre environment
- Essential: Strong insurance industry experience (motor, home, life, or related products)
- Proven ability to drive sales performance and exceed targets
- Strong coaching skills with experience improving conversion and advisor capability
- Good understanding of regulated sales environments and FCA compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
- Highly motivated, target\-driven, and commercially focused
- Experience in inbound and outbound sales environments
- Knowledge of contact centre technologies (CRM systems, diallers, etc.)
- Leadership or insurance\-related qualifications
