About the Role

As a Residential Sales Designer, success comes from truly understanding what customers want and converting that into sales. You'll take time to listen, showcase what we can offer, and confidently guide them through their entire journey with expertise and care.

This role is about building trust, collaborating with colleagues, closing deals, and delivering results, creating spaces that customers will love for years to come.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets, taking the time to educate them on the quality and craftsmanship behind our cabinet making, helping them appreciate the difference that bespoke joinery makes


• Develop customised design concepts using SketchUp, CAD, and merchandising techniques, presenting proposals clearly and confidently


• Assist clients in selecting materials, colours, and furnishings that align with their vision and lifestyle


• Upsell additional products and services to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring every customer feels genuinely valued


• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth, timely delivery from concept to completion


• Maintain organised records of client interactions, project specifications, and sales progress across multiple projects simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to achieve and outperform sales and profit targets


• Detail\-oriented, organised, and determined with a strong focus on planning and execution


• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals, from homeowners to tradespeople


• Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, and merchandising principles is desirable; full training will be provided


• An approachable, positive personality that makes customers feel valued and builds lasting relationships


• Customer\-facing confidence, with the ability to guide clients through decisions with authority and warmth
