Team Leader/Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a care environment specialising in senior care. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring the delivery of high\-quality care, and maintaining compliance with care plans and organisational standards. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring they deliver compassionate and professional care to residents


• Coordinate daily activities, including medication administration, personal care, and social engagement programmes


• Develop, review, and update personalised care plans in collaboration with residents and their families


• Monitor staff performance, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a motivated team environment


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and organisational procedures


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and team members to promote transparency and high standards of care


• Organise staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage across shifts, including driving responsibilities if required


• Maintain accurate documentation related to care delivery and staff supervision

• Proven supervising experience within a care home or senior care setting


• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire teams


• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams


• Competent in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs


• Good IT skills for record keeping and reporting purposes


• Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation duties or home visits


• Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently


• Compassionate approach with a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for older adults
