Polebank Hall Residential Care home is looking for a confident, caring and motivated Team Leader to join our dedicated team.
As a Team Leader, you will lead and support care staff to provide safe, compassionate and person\-centred care to residents living with dementia. You will act as a positive role model and help ensure that high standards are maintained throughout each shift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the care team and effectively allocating duties
- Administering medication safely and accurately
- completing clear and accurate care documentation
- Monitoring residents health, wellbeing and changing needs.
- Responding appropriately to accidents, incidents and emergencies.
- Communicating with families and healthcare professionals
- Completing shift handovers and escalting concerns promptly
- promoting residents dignity, independence, choice and quality of life.
Previous experience within a Team Leader or senior role is preferred. An NVQ level 2 in Health and social care, or a willingness to work towards a qualification, is desirable. Medication administration experience is essential; additional training will be provided where required.
Applicants must be flexible and able to work as part of the rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references will be required.

Pay: £14\.40 per hour
