Team Leader

Job Summary
Not Just Care are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Team Leader/Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our customers in their own homes. This role requires effective communication skills, a good understanding of care plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered. Whilst carrying out Supervisions, Observations and Reviews of the care provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support.


• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide updates on care and address any concerns.


• Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress in accordance with care plans.


• Support healthcare professionals in delivering medical treatments and therapies as required.


• Drive patients to appointments or assist them in accessing community resources when necessary.


• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all patients.


• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to IT systems used for patient documentation and care management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.


• Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with patients and team members.


• Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.


• A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting patients as needed.


• Basic IT skills to manage patient records and documentation efficiently.


• A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high\-quality support to individuals in need of assistance.
