Candidate profile (text) \- Default language We are looking for a Team Leader who can manage the daily night operations of our Goods Receiving department in the Taastrup warehouse. We imagine that you are a leader who knows how to motivate and coach your employees, and who can work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment. A forklift license and experience operating forklifts (reach truck and counterbalance forklift) is not a requirement, but is an advantage.
To succeed in this role, we expect that you:
- Have several years of experience as a leader within logistics and warehousing in a retail company.
- Have experience with night work and non\-standard working hours.
- Fluency in English is required. Danish language skills are considered an advantage but are not essential.
- Have experience working with routines and creating structure in a busy work environment, both for yourself and your team.
Key responsibilities (text) As a Team Leader in Goods Receiving, you are responsible for ensuring that all incoming trucks are unloaded and that goods are distributed to the correct areas in the warehouse, so everything is ready for our customers when the store opens at 10:00 AM. You are responsible for motivating your employees and ensuring they are always prepared to perform high\-quality work in accordance with current safety regulations.
Your additional responsibilities include:
- Participating in daily operations and providing visible leadership.
- Collaborating with the warehouse logistics departments to ensure an efficient and successful goods flow process.
- Developing and optimizing your team and your work processes.

Local section (text) • The position is based on an individual contract with an average of 37 hours per week. Overtime is reflected in the salary.
- Working hours are primarily between 04:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Flexibility is required, as you may occasionally be needed to support the night team from 11:00 PM based on operational needs. Work is scheduled every second weekend.
- You should expect to spend approximately 50% of your time supporting operations and 50% on administrative and leadership tasks.
- Salary is determined according to IKEA’s salary policy and is based on your competencies, including pension.
