Team Leader

We are looking for a confident and caring Team Leader to join our residential care home team. In this hands\-on leadership role, you’ll be responsible for supervising care staff, ensuring high standards of care, and supporting residents with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the care team during shifts


• Allocate staff duties and ensure effective handovers


• Provide and oversee personal care in line with individual care plans


• Supervise, mentor, and support care assistants


• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with care plan audits


• Encourage resident engagement and promote independence


• Liaise with families and external professionals

Requirements:

• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care – *essential*


• Experience in a senior care or team leader role – *essential*


• Experience in a care home setting – *required*


• Experience with dementia care – *essential*


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• A compassionate, resident\-focused approach

Working Pattern:

• Flexible shifts over two weeks rota


• Alternate weekend working required


• On call duties
